Bill Simmons proposes a straight-up trade: swapping Ja Morant for Tyler Herro:

"This is a Miami-Memphis trade. Send Morant to the Heat, with KCP included. The Grizzlies get Herro and Rozier (expiring contract), while the Heat absorb one more year of KCP's deal. They're betting Morant can reclaim his superstar status."

When asked if Morant would be a good fit in Miami, a Heat beat reporter responded:

"Absolutely. That's Pat Riley's style—his teams are a rebirth for players in crisis. When Tim Hardaway was benched by Rick Adelman, his knee injury severe enough to end his career, who gave him a chance? Riley."
