Nick Wright stated: "If Nic Harrison called Rob Pelinka today and said, 'Hey, I can offer Anthony Davis and Cooper Flagg—wanna trade for Luka?' Pelinka would flat-out reject it. That's where both sides stand right now."

"Even if he said, 'Hey, let's back out of this deal, cancel it, and I'll throw in Cooper Flagg too,' the Lakers would still say no. Because Luka's averaging 40 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists per game."
