Despite lacking their three primary ball-handlers, the Lakers' makeshift trio delivered a dominant performance. Rui Hachimura went 10-for-15 for 28 points and 4 rebounds. Deandre Ayton dominated the paint with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Nick Smith Jr. hit 5 of 6 threes for 25 points and 6 assists. Bronny James, playing 19 minutes, added 5 points and 6 assists.

For the Trail Blazers, Clingan and Robert Williams combined for just 8 points. Avdija went 10-of-20 from the field for 33 points, while Shaedon Sharpe added 23 points. Yang Hanshen did not see any playing time.
