Recently, Speedboat head coach Tyronn Lue was asked about the situation of his close friend Chauncey Billups and said that Billups is confident of proving his innocence.

Lue said, "It's a really hard thing to accept and I'd hate to see him, his three daughters (I'm also their godfather) and his wife go through that."

"I believe in Chauncey, I know him, I've known him since I was 17. So to see something like this is really sad. I will always love him and I will always support him."

"When you know someone well enough, you know how they are just by hearing their voice. Like I said, he's very confident in his current situation. The toughest hurdle for him is himself, other than that he's confident in what's going on. So all I can do is he's okay."
