According to The Athletic, sources revealed that Trae Young and the Eagles will not renew his contract before the start of the regular season.

Trae Young, 27, is in the final season of his current contract and will become an unrestricted free agent next summer if he can't sign a new deal before the end of the season.

Trae Young will make $46 million this season, or $49 million in the 26/27 season if the player option is implemented.

Trae Young averaged 24.2 points and a league-high 11.6 assists last season.
