In today's NBA preseason game, the Hawks narrowly defeated the Heat 119-118 in overtime.

With only 4.4 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Myron Gardner hit a layup to help the Heat tie the score at 102, and then the Hawks failed in the shootout, and the two teams went into overtime to win.
