Release time: 2025-09-29 PE Score

Shohei Ohtani blasted his 55th home run of the season in the final regular season game of the season, and fell just short of a three-run homer for the complete game. He helped the Dodgers beat the Mariners on the road, setting a new career high and rewriting his own record for most home runs in a season, set last year. The Dodgers will now return home to face the Reds in the postseason wild card series. Head Coach Roberts also announced his starting pitchers after the game, Snell and Yushin Yamamoto for the first two games, and Shohei Ohtani for the third game.
