Future Dodger Hall of Fame pitcher Kershaw is retiring at the end of the year, and today's division title was Kershaw's last celebration. He took off his shirt, goggles and hat for a champagne bath and said, "I don't even need my pants anymore. It's the last playoffs and it means a lot. It's a little bit cold, but it's one of the few times in my life that I have to celebrate." He also praised Yamamoto, "He was incredible, and although Skenes should have won the Cy Young Award, Yamamoto was just as good, if not better."
