US media: Irving's injury recovery progresses beyond expectations

Kyrie Irving's recovery from an ACL injury is progressing beyond the Maverick's expectations and could be back sooner than expected, sources tell DallasHoopsJournal.
Irving suffered a torn ACL in his left knee on March 3 of this year against the Kings. At present, the Maverick and Irving have not formulated a specific comeback schedule, it is reported that the Maverick has no intention of urging Irving to come back as soon as possible.
Last season, Irving for the Maverick played 50 times, averaging 24.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.3 steals, shooting rate of 47.3%, three-point shooting rate of 40.1%, free throw shooting rate of 91.6%.
In July, Irving extended a new three-year, $118 million contract with the Maverick, with a player option for the 27/28 season worth $42.4 million.
