Damian Lillard admits to being happy again in Portland.

"It feels fantastic. I'm not particularly outgoing, but to come back at this point in my adult life - to watch my kids grow up, to see the team grow - it's just right. The team has improved over the last few years, and coming back to the place where I played for the first 11 years of my career, it's the happiest time of my life. Waking up every day full of gratitude: watching my kids, taking them to school, driving to my mother's house...that's happiness, and I couldn't be more content right now."

Earlier, the Portland Trail Blazers signed Lillard to a three-year, $42 million contract.
