Recently, Anthony Davis was asked on his podcast about the model of NBA players receiving their salaries, and he revealed that players have the option to receive their full year's salary in as little as six months.

The Brow said, "You can decide that on your own. We actually get paid on the 15th of the month just like any other business. But you can decide whether to split it into 12 months or get the full year's salary in six months."

"How you choose depends on who you are and your financial situation; if you're financially stable enough to go up to six months without needing to be paid, then consider six months. If you need to spend a lot of money and have to have something coming in every month, then go with 12 months."

"I think a lot of people would choose to receive it every month. But if you're a little older and financially stable, then maybe go with six months. Me, for example, I don't have to worry about money all summer."

"In fact, I think a lot of players don't even know they have the option yet, and they just think it's perfectly natural to receive a full year's salary in 12 months."
