According to Shams, Magic star Paolo Banchero has been diagnosed with a left groin strain following an examination.

The report states that Banchero's MRI results today revealed the left groin strain, causing him to miss tonight's game against the Nets. His condition will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.

This season, Banchero is averaging 21.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game, shooting 46.1% from the field and 25% from three-point range.

The Magic hold a 6-6 record through 12 games, currently sitting tenth in the Eastern Conference standings.
