According to ESPN, Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo has sprained his left big toe and will miss the NBA Cup game against the Charlotte Hornets.

The Heat revealed that Adebayo has undergone an MRI, which confirmed the toe sprain. He has been placed on the daily injury report.

This season, Adebayo has appeared in 8 games for the team, averaging 30.4 minutes per game with 19.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.0 steals. He is shooting 45.2% from the field and 34.0% from three-point range.
