Donovan Mitchell revealed at the post-game press conference that his 46-point performance today was fueled by a challenge from a 2K player.

The Cavaliers defeated the 76ers 132-121 at home today. Mitchell shot 15-of-21 from the field (6-of-11 from three), went 10-for-10 from the free-throw line, and finished with 46 points, 4 rebounds, and 8 assists while committing only 2 turnovers.

Reflecting on his performance, Mitchell stated: "A kid got me fired up. I was playing 2K when this player started trash-talking me, saying I was washed up and all sorts of nasty stuff—but I love that kind of talk. He claimed he hadn't seen my highlight reel in ages, so I told him to just wait and see."
