Jazz official: Walker Kessler undergoes shoulder surgery, out for season

Early this morning, the Utah Jazz announced that center Walker Kessler underwent shoulder surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.

The announcement reads as follows:

"The Utah Jazz announced today that center Walker Kessler will undergo surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. The procedure will be performed by Dr. Neil ElAttrache in Los Angeles on November 6. Following the surgery, Walker Kessler will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 season."

Walker Kessler appeared in five games for the Jazz this season, averaging nearly 31 minutes per game. He contributed 14.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game, shooting 70.3% from the field.

The Jazz hold a 3-4 record through their first seven games and currently sit ninth in the Western Conference standings.
