Game Overview
Game 3 of the World Series returned to the Dodgers' home field, and Teo and Ohtani had the first two springboks to take the lead against the Blue Jays' three-time starter, Cy Young Scherzer. However, in the fourth inning, the Blue Jays Kirk capitalized on the Dodger's mistake with a three-run blast, and then added a run on a string of hits. However, the Dodgers tied the game in the bottom of the fifth inning on a long line drive. Bichette added a leadoff single in the seventh, and then Ohtani's single in the bottom half of the inning tied the game again. Both teams went back and forth, showing great defense to send the game into an extra inning. Both teams sent 19 pitchers to the plate throughout the game until Freddie Freeman hit another home run in the 18th inning, 6 hours and 39 minutes into the game, helping the Dodgers defeat the Blue Jays 6-5 for their second World Series win.
