Recently on the show, Kevin Garnett talked about Wembanyama, who asked for advice from him this summer, and said that the Spurs star is like a combination of Shaq and KD.

Paul Pierce: "I see you got a chance to spend some time with that young man - Wemby - this summer, what was that like? What did you guys do?"

Kevin Garnett: "He was on a journey to seek all kinds of knowledge. He didn't want to be trapped in the framework of being a French player, he wanted to break all the preconceptions about himself. He's changing the way we think about the five positions on the court, changing the way we think about the interior, and he's adding a lot of guards and small forwards to the interior role. Have you seen what he's done in the preseason? He looked like a combination of KD and Shaq."

Paul Pierce: "No, he doesn't look like O'Neal, and we all know how O'Neal plays. He's a monster."

Kevin Garnett: "Well, give me another name, another player who can put his feet on the rim when he dunks. He's going to be in the MVP discussion, for sure. He wants to be a special player, a player we've never seen before."

Paul Pierce: "There's only one thing I want to say about Wemby, he's got to get stronger because he's got all kinds of attributes."
