According to BasketNews, English guard Quinn Ellis has said that he will try to convince Nickelback OG Anunoby to join the English men's basketball team.

Anunoby, who was born in London, is eligible to play internationally for Great Britain, but he has yet to make his Great Britain debut.

Ellis said, "To be honest, I don't know much about the situation, but obviously we have to put the right system in place to attract NBA players to play for their country in the summer off-season."

"Nobody knows if he (Anunoby) will be a member of the national team in the future, but hopefully he will because he's got an amazing talent and is probably the strongest player to come out of the UK for a long time. Hopefully they can sort that out and get us more NBA level players."

"We need him badly and if we can get hold of him and maybe convince him, I'll try my best to try."
