Gilbert Arenas: JB isn't really the Warriors' second option

Gilbert Arenas said about the Warriors' prospects for the upcoming season that the Warriors need someone to really step up and be the team's second option, and Jimmy Butler hasn't lived up to that billing.

Steph Curry's play is going to determine whether the Warriors can stay competitive, but he's going to need another guy to help him move forward," Arenas said. Butler plays team basketball, and he's always been a team player. But for this team, there's no clear second option right now, and neither Kuminga nor Buddy Hield can step up right now and say, 'I'm going to take this shot, I'm going to be the second guy on the team.'"

"They don't have a Klay anymore, they don't have a guy that's going to be the second guy on the team. Unless Kuminga can be that player this season. Their so-called second option, Jimmy Butler, is only averaging 18 points a game, and that's not enough. He can play a great game, but only as a third option."
