In an interview, Lakers center Jaxson Hayes confirmed that he is in the process of applying for a Slovenian passport in hopes of becoming teammates with Doncic on the national team as well.

Hayes said, "He (Doncic) is my brother! We are in the process of getting my Slovenian passport so I can play with him on the national team next summer."
