According to Lakers Daily, an NBA executive has said that he wouldn't be surprised if LeBron James misses until December of this year to return to action.
Shams reported that LeBron James has been suffering from sciatica since July and is expected to miss the start of the regular season.
Speaking on the matter, the NBA executive said, "The sciatica pain is really intense, and LeBron's body is not recovering as fast as it used to. I wouldn't be surprised if he can't play in October or even November. The Lakers have to be careful with this injury and I think they're going to be very cautious."
The Lakers open the season on Oct. 21 against the Warriors. The Lakers have six games in October and 13 in November.
