The Brewers were shut out by Dodger starters for the second day in a row and suffered their second straight loss at home. Head Coach Pat Murphy praised the dominance of Snell and Yushin Yamamoto in his post-game press conference as being at the top of a very rare level, and said that there shouldn't be a lot of teams that can break through these two guys. He also said that the team has chased down more bad pitches than they have all year, and that these two pitchers are making us look bad. But in the end, the team didn't give up: "I can understand how you guys might think we're going to be eliminated, and in this situation 90% of the time we're not going to make it to the championship game. But this team has been underdogs a lot this year, and we're still fighting."
