According to The Athletic, Podziemski said he would like to see Stephen Curry and Draymond Green give the Warriors to themselves when they retire.

Podziemski said, "When they leave, they're going to have to give the team to somebody. How do I earn their trust? They can say to Joe (owner Lacob) and Mike (general manager Dunleavy), 'Look, we want to give him the responsibility of leading the team forward. He's going to carry on after we leave.'"

"So I've been mulling this over and that's where I'm going to position myself to get that role. And if you want to be good at that position, you have to have a lot of other abilities besides basketball skills."
