Dodger starter Blake Snell pitched six scoreless innings, striking out nine, before Emmet Sheehan pitched two innings and allowed one run.

In the 9th inning, Blake Treinen came to the plate with 3 consecutive hits to close the score, and the Dodgers made an emergency substitution of Alex Vesia to relieve Ranghee Sasaki, who keyed in with two outs and runners on first and third to hold on to the win.
