In an interview during preseason preparations, Giannis said his next career goal is to win another NBA championship and a national team medal.

I think every basketball player, every athlete, when they start their career, they set goals for what they want to accomplish, what they want to be remembered for," Giannis said.

"As of right now, I've accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish. But I want more, I want to win another championship, I want to win another medal for the Greek national team. Because leaving an honor and a legacy is very important to me."
