From the day of the draft to now, I've also thought a lot about what makes Portland special and the name of the team: the Trail Blazers.

This special name is also very apt for me. As we all know, it's been a long time since a Chinese player has appeared in the NBA draft, and I know how lucky I am to be able to represent China and play at the highest level in the NBA. I understand the responsibility I have. There have been a lot of talented kids and young players in China over the years, and with their love of basketball and their hard work, maybe one day they will be able to play in the NBA. Whether it's on social media or around me, there are a lot of promising young players who have the ability, the skills and the future.

So for me, the name "Trail Blazers" has a very special meaning, it's full of strength and hope.

I will try my best to blaze my own path in the NBA and be successful. This is just the beginning, and there is still a long, long road ahead. I also hope that I can slowly inspire the young Chinese players, just like Yao Ming inspired me. I want to show them that everything is possible and everyone can make their own way.

For all the fans in China, especially the younger ones, while you are supporting me in this new season, I hope you don't sacrifice too much sleep or school. I know that jet lag might be difficult, so I hope that everyone at home, while supporting me, can also live with full strength.

It's hard to predict what life will bring you or what the road ahead will look like. But you must always be prepared with strength (and sleep).
