Recently, Jeff Teague talked about the Warriors' opposition to adding Monk to the rumors of the Kuminga trade on the podcast, and he said he thought Monk would perform better than Poole in the Warriors' system.

Jeff Teague said: "Monk can actually enhance the Warriors' offensive firepower ...... but the Warriors might want a big man more, and that's the resource they need most urgently. But I believe Monk can boost the Warriors' offensive firepower because they need that spark plug. Monk is that Jordan Poole type of player."
