Reporter Jake Fischer revealed on Bleacher Report's tube show that Durant will agree to a contract extension with the Rockets.

Jake Fischer said, "The Houston Rockets can still fight for is with Ethan as well as Durant contract extension. Durant will definitely extend with the Rockets at some point, and Ethan needs to be patient."

Durant, who was traded by the Suns to the Rockets in June, is currently making $54.7 million per year in the final year of his contract.
