Former Heat star Alonzo Mourning has built a $37 million senior living center in Florida, according to local media reports.
The report said the senior living center has 120 apartments with one- and two-bedroom units, with rents ranging from $322 to $1,316, which is much lower than the average rent in most parts of Florida, providing safe and relatively affordable housing for seniors. It is noted that seniors must be at least 55 years old and below a certain income level to qualify for the living center.
In addition to apartments, the living center features a cafe with internet access, a kitchen, a gym, a clubhouse for residents to meet, and a pet park.
